Watch your own plane crash!

JetBlue Passengers Watched News of Drama

So apparently the people on board of JetBlue flight 292 were able to watch the news broadcasts about the problem their plane was having. I guess it was shut off a few minutes before the plane landed. If they were going to leave it on for the 3 hours while it circled, they should have just left it on for the landing too.

DSL is back!!

21 September 2005 @ 4:43pm

Earlier today I got an email from Verizon saying that my DSL was ready to go. On my lunch break I went home and checked … it was up and running. Awesome. Now I can get back into web design. But still, even though my DSL is now up, Verizon still SUCKS for taking so damn long. My suggestion to Verizon is to hire some more people.

Heaven & exorcisms all in one weekend

19 September 2005 @ 1:14pm

So this weekend I saw 2 movies. One was about the friendly spirit world and the other was about the not so friendly spirit world. I’d have to say the evil movie was the better of the 2, but both were good.

Just Like Heaven - The movie was pretty good. Weird kind of story, but it worked. I was not looking at my watch wondering how many minutes went by since I last looked, so that had to be a plus. This is definitely a chick flick, which is why I took Jen. She loved the movie.

The Exorcism of Emily Rose - Weird, creepy, scary movie. I think this movie would have failed if it were not for the fact that it is based on a true story. Because it was based on a true story I was, and still am, really curious about it. I want to know how much of the movie was true and how much was Hollywood. So if anyone has any links to some good sites with information about this story please post them.

LA Kings vs. Anaheim Mighty Ducks

17 September 2005 @ 3:33pm

So a little while back Jen and I each picked up 2 free tickets to go see the LA Kings vs. Anaheim Mighty Ducks. The game is tonight at 7:30pm at the Staples Center.

Since hockey has been gone for like 2 years now, I guess they wanted to get people back into hockey. So this game was offered totally free. We jumped on Ticketmaster right as the tickets went on “sale” and got 2 sets of tickets that are fairly close to each other. There was no charge for the tickets, no shipping, nothing. 100% free, can’t beat that.

Neither of us are huge hockey fans, but whatever. I like going to different sporting events for the atmosphere. Plus in hockey they have fights … I’m always down for seeing those.
